   十九大报告中提出，始终坚持增进民深福祉是发展的根本目的。展望未来我们可以获得那些民生福利?我校的发展方针又有哪些与此不谋而合?我们来初探一下。

　　1. Education(办好人民满意的教育)

　　加快一流大学和一流学科建设，实现高等教育内涵式发展。 We will move faster to build Chinese universities into world-class universities and develop world-class disciplines as we work to bring out the full potential of higher education.

　　我校老校长高瞻远瞩，一直以建设国内一流大学作为我校的办学宗旨。在老校长的带领下，全体现代人正为此做着不懈的努力。

　　2. Employment(更高的就业质量和收入水平)

　　大规模开展职业技能培训，注重解决结构性就业矛盾，鼓励创业带动就业提供全方位公共就业服务，促进高校毕业生等青年群体多渠道就业创业等。We will launch vocational skills training programs on a big scale, give particular attention to tackling structural unemployment, and create more jobs by encouraging business startups. We will provide extensive public employment services to open more channels for college graduates and other young people to find jobs and start their own businesses.

　　我校一直以来，注重培养学生的职业技能，创办各种职业技能培训机会。同时利用丰富的资源，举办招聘会，为品学兼优的学生提供留校机会，全方位为学生提供就业机会。

　　3. Social security(更全面的社会保障体系)

　　全面实施全民参保计划，尽快实现养老保险全国统筹，等。We will work to see that everyone has access to social security. Wei will quickly bring pension schemes under national unified management,

　　4. Poverty alleviation(更均衡的发展)

　　坚持精准扶贫，精准脱贫，等。Continue to implement targeted poverty reduction and alleviation measures.

　　5. Health(更健康的体魄)

　　深化医药卫生体制改革，健全现代医院管理制度;坚持食品安全战略，让人民吃的放心。We will deepen reform of the medicine and healthcare system and develop a sound modern hospital management system; initiate a food safety strategy to ensure that people have peace of mind about what they are putting on their plates.

　　我校一直注重食堂的食品安全问题，而且定期为全校师生进行医疗体检，为广大师生的身体健康尽职尽责。

　　6. Social governance(更专业的社会治理水平)

　　加快社会治安防控体系建设，保护人民人身权，财产权和人格权，等。We will accelerate development of the crime prevention and control system, protecting people’s personal rights, property rights and right to dignity.

　　7. Culture(更丰富的社会文化活动)

　　推进国际传播能力建设，讲好中国故事，展现真实、立体、全面的中国，提高国家文化软实力，等。We will improve our capacity for engaging in international communication so as to tell china’s stories well, present a true, multi-dimensional, and panoramic view of China and enhance our country’s cultural soft power.

　　我校举行的尚贤节，“学先贤，颂英雄”等一系列活动，让我们深切领受中华民族一贯的君子人格和传统文化的智慧，这正是我们践行传播传统文化，树立文化自信的明智之举。

　　8. Environment(更清新的空气、更美丽的中国)

　　坚持节约优先、保护优先、自然恢复为主的方针，还以宁静、和谐、美丽。 We should act on principles of prioritizing resource conservation and environmental protection and letting nature restore itself. Then we can restore the serenity, harmony and beauty of nature. 我校提倡无纸化办公，开源节流，为节约优先，创建和谐自然贡献自己的一份力量。
